How to Use Nusakita Refined Cooking Oil Efficiently and in a Health-Conscious Way

Toga Sitanggang as Deputy Chairman of the Association of Palm Oil Entrepreneurs (GAPKI), stated that currently the phenomenon of cooking oil scarcity in the market is a major problem that is difficult to overcome. This triggers problems for the community, especially small traders. This scarcity is due to very rapid policy changes so that industry players from upstream to downstream need time to respond.
"We can see that there is no shortage of raw materials. Because of the total consumption production in domestic CPO, it only reached 36 per cent," said Toga, as quoted by Antara (February 11, 2022).
In addition, Toga also explained that the accusation from the owner of the CPO commodity that the supply of cooking oil was minimal because it prioritized export was a false statement. Based on the data shown, it turns out that CPO export activities in 2021 showed that the number of CPO exports at that time decreased with a total export amount of 33 million tons compared to the number of CPO exports in 2020 which reached 34 million tons.
In an effort to normalize commodity flows, producers must coordinate with other distributors to return to the retail stage so that the time required can be estimated to be approximately one week.
The government is currently pursuing the scarcity of cooking oil through market operations. However, this solution is still not fully sufficient for the community's need for cooking oil evenly.
One type of cooking oil circulated by the government is cooking oil produced by NUSAKITA. NUSAKITA is one of the national product brands, a subsidiary of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara. NUSAKITA itself was only established around 2021 by producing various main products such as cooking oil, sugar, tea and coffee. However, recently NUSAKITA's product that is on the rise among the public is cooking oil. This is presumably because the government cooperates with PTPN to distribute cooking oil from NUSAKITA during the continuation of market operations.
The price of NUSAKITA cooking oil that is given for sale in the market is classified as very cheap, which is IDR 14,000.00. Even though the price is very cheap, the quality of NUSAKITA cooking oil is no longer in doubt. The materials used for its manufacture come directly from PTPN's own plantations and are processed directly by the experts. Now NUSAKITA is here to be a very useful solution to help the community meet the availability of cooking oil needs.
